Founded in the year 1999 in the name of our founder Late Shri Ghanshyam Das Ji Rungta who was a living example of courage, determination and vision to contribute to the society by bringing up the overall living standards, The GDR Educational Society today seems to truly imbibe his ideals and follow the path shown by him.

The GDR Educational society in just a span of 10 years has today established itself as a name synonymous with Quality Education. The society with its unique model of education, has earned a name for itself in the academic community and the industry. It has emerged as group with institution’s of excellence in the fields of Higher education. It offers a constellation of opportunity, a lifetime of leadership, intelligent citizenship, and enlightened living. The Society is offering various professional courses at graduate and undergraduate & Post Graduate levels. Under the able stewardship of Chairman Shri Santosh Rungta, GDR Educational Society plans to take a leadership position in the state as a Premier Educational body with interests in Professional Career oriented programs and providing solutions on cutting edge technological needs of the region.

The Society today has ten premier institutions in its fold namely Rungta College of Engineering & Technology, RSR Rungta College of Engineering & Technology, G D Rungta College of Engineering & Technology, Rungta College of Dental Sciences & Research, Rungta College of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research, Rungta College of Science & Technology, GD Rungta College of Science & Technology, Rungta Institute of Information Technology, Rungta College of Information Technology along with its very ambitious “Rungta Infotech Systems Pvt. Ltd.” & “Tanishq Exports Pvt. Ltd.” Aiming at the software development and exports from the region.

The Society succeeded in bring up each of its institutes as a premier institute in its segment just by means of shear commitment to quality and focus on the emerging global scenario in education industry.
